For a long time, one of the most difficult parts of what we do was saying no.
We would receive the loveliest enquiries from families just beyond our delivery area — then further afield — all hoping to bring a little Grumpy Fox magic to their celebration.
SO … we reimagined the experience.
Little Fox in a Box has been carefully developed to bring our soft play offering to families across the UK — without compromising on the quality, aesthetic, or thoughtful details we’re known for.
At the heart of Grumpy Fox is a simple idea — that children’s celebrations can feel calm, beautiful, and considered. This nationwide offering allows us to share that experience more widely, while still preserving everything that makes it special.
Created specifically for babies and younger toddlers, our packages have been thoughtfully adapted for home delivery — including a more flexible, fence-free setup that allows the play space to feel open, soft, and effortlessly suited to your home or venue.

Booking process
1. Check Availability
Use our live booking calendar to check your preferred date. Simply select your celebration date to see which Little Fox in a Box packages are available.
2. Build Your Little Fox in a Box
Choose your package, select your colourway and add any themes, personalised vinyls or birthday extras to create your perfect setup.
3. Complete Your Booking
Once you're happy with your choices, complete your booking online. A £30 refundable security deposit secures your date (subject to our Terms & Conditions).
4. Booking Confirmation
We'll send you a booking confirmation along with everything you need to know, including delivery details, setup information and your final balance date.
5. We'll Deliver the Magic
Your Little Fox in a Box will be carefully prepared and delivered ready for a full weekend of beautiful play. Then simply pack it away and we'll arrange collection on Monday.
DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR
Once you've placed your order, we'll carefully prepare your Little Fox in a Box, ensuring everything is beautifully packed and ready for its journey. Your Little Fox in a Box will be delivered on Thursday or Friday, ready for a weekend full of magical play.
If your order is delivered by courier, you'll receive tracking details and a one-hour delivery window, so you'll know exactly when to expect your boxes. If your delivery is being made by a member of our team, we'll be in touch to confirm your delivery time.
When the fun is over, simply repack everything into the original boxes using our easy guide. We'll even include the parcel tape, so you have everything you need to prepare your boxes for collection.
Depending on your location, your order will either be delivered by one of our trusted courier partners or personally by a friendly member of the Grumpy Fox team. See our T&Cs.
Your soft play will arrive in approximately 4–6 easy-to-handle boxes (depending on your chosen package), complete with everything you need for a simple, stress-free setup. Before delivery, we'll email you a handy setup and repacking video, making it quick and easy to get your Little Fox in a Box ready for play.
Collections take place on Monday. If your order is being collected by our courier, you'll receive another one-hour collection window. If collection is by the Grumpy Fox team, we'll confirm your collection time in advance.

You’ll receive a one-hour time slot for both delivery and collection. If you’re not available, you can nominate a safe place for the box to be left and collected.

Yes — everything is designed to be simple and intuitive, with no tools or specialist setup required. A full instruction guide will be provided.

This package is designed specifically for babies and young toddlers. For larger or mixed-age setups, our signature soft play packages may be more suitable.

Yes — our signature setups, including full styling, fencing, and installation, are still available within our usual service areas.

We work with trusted, reliable courier partners and deliver before the weekend celebrations begin. In the unlikely event of a delay, we will support you and keep you fully updated to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We kindly ask that all items are returned in a clean and cared-for condition, ready for their next little celebration. A simple wipe down and ensuring everything is free from food or debris is all that’s needed. All of our soft play is then thoroughly cleaned and sanitised by our team before its next use, ensuring every setup arrives fresh, safe, and beautifully presented.

Outdoor setups are welcome during the summer months, provided the weather is suitable. We ask that items are only used outdoors on clean, dry ground, and not if rain is forecast.
Please use the ground sheet provided in your set.
All equipment should be brought indoors after use and not left outside overnight.

We’ll always provide a one-hour collection window to help you plan your day. If collection is missed and a reattempt is required, a surcharge may apply.
We recommend ensuring the boxes are ready and accessible at the scheduled time, or left in your nominated safe place where possible.
